The Ship of Theseus: Identity, Altered

What are you if nothing original remains?
The same vessel,
Or something else entirely?

You feel it when you revisit an old place in a new mind.
When your rituals shift,
or your wardrobe changes,
but your sense of self, somehow, remains intact.

The Ship of Theseus is not just a question.
It’s a mirror.
One that reflects who you are when what you are has changed.

The Paradox: Plank by Plank

The thought experiment is simple.
A ship sails. Time passes.
Parts rot, are replaced.
Eventually, no original piece remains.

Is it still Theseus’ ship?

What if you rebuild the original pieces into another ship?
